Courtney Fanello is a native of Mesa, Arizona, a board-certified Music Therapist, a former 1st soprano in the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square and most importantly, mother of 5. She has been singing and performing from the age of 5, and received her Bachelors of Music in Music Therapy from Arizona State University with voice as her performing medium. She is the founder of Kidz in Tune (est. 2014) , and has been teaching music for over fifteen years. The goal of kidz in tune classes has always been to help children, and those who love them, connect through music. Early childhood music classes, intergenerational music time at rest homes, broadway choir camps, group piano lessons, and children’s choirs have all been ways to accomplish this mission. I believe that music can change lives, and that love of music is where it all begins, from the youngest, to the oldest. Classes incorporate ear training, improvisation, creativity, composition, music theory, and of course, singing! So come bang a drum, shake a maraca, and play along, because music is the rhythm of life, and it’s time to play!
