KIDS ART CLASS

Kids ages 5-12 can experience art making as they create one drawing, painting or sculpture per class while being inspired by the fall season and famous artists. Kids will draw from still life, paint landscapes, make abstract art, sculpt with clay and even draw realistic faces as they experience using a variety of materials.

TEEN PORTFOLIO PREP

Teens ages 12-15 focus on drawing and painting realism as they build their portfolios to audition for The Las Vegas Academy of the Arts or Del Sol High School in the visual arts, theatre tech or digital media. Kim and her staff help the teens to fulfill all the audition requirements as well as inspire them to get really creative and even create a “mock audition” just before the real auditions in Jan.

DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION

Kids ages 8 and older learn to use the ”Procreate” App on their iPads with their Apple Pencils. Their focus is to teach the kids how to use the variety of tools in the app to be able to make works of art on their iPad.  Kids take home one framed print of their final work of art at the end of each class.

This year we will be celebrating our 3rd Decade of Kids Weekly Art Classes.  We are known for teaching drawing, painting and sculpture to kids ages 5-12 and are best known for the incredible projects we do with kids that not only build their confidence in art but also teach about famous artists and about famous movements in art history.

We have young vibrant instructors who are trained by our iconic leader, Kim Bavington who has inspired thousands of kids for decades with many now enjoying creative careers such as graphic designers, interior designers, architects, photographers, fashion illustrators, gallery curators, and museum curators well as being child psychologists and other related fields.  Many of her past students are already sending their own kids to her Art Camp. Kim is also an Art Instructor/Ambassador for The Blackwing Foundation’s “Pathways to Creativity”, which brings art into classrooms all over the country that lack the funds for creative and preforming arts instruction.

All weekly Group Art Classes COST: 4-Class Session Price: $125 or Drop-In: $40
