Discovery Bridge is founded as a religious organization in addition to being a nonprofit. We do chapel each month; we learn Bible verses; we say the Lord’s prayer in circle time. Teachers at the preschool go through extensive background checks and are CPR certified. It is structured as a school with age-appropriate classrooms where children can be engaged with hands-on learning and be prepared for their next academic successes, along with social and emotional well-being, she said. Children at the preschool do not use electronic devices, although they do get to watch a short academic show at times. There is a lot of movement and outdoor time.
The preschool follows an academic school year schedule with some summer camps and monthly events that families are involved in, including an Easter egg hunt, Thanksgiving feasts, grandparent lunch, graduations, etc.
